Michigan State University Facts
The oldest part of campus lies on the north bank of the Red Cedar. This area features Collegiate Gothic architecture,
plentiful trees and curving roads. It was here that the College built its first three buildings -- College Hall, Saints’ Rest dormitory and a barn -- in 1856.
None of the three original buildings exist today.
